Preparatory to the International Bar Association Conference holding in South Korea from the 22nd of September, 2019, the leadership of the Nigerian Bar Association did a courtesy call on the South Korean Ambassador to NIgeria, Mr. Lee In Tae at his office in Abuja, today.
In the delegation were the General Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association, Jonathan Gunu Taidi; Chris Uche, SAN; Lawal Rabana, SAN; the National Publicity Secretary, Kunle Edun and Mr. Kazeem, head of the NBA Protocol Unit.
Recall that earlier the NBA President, Paul Usoro, SAN had informed members that the NBA would intervene and seek engagement with the South Korean Embassy, so that our members who have registered for the IBA Conference would have no visa challenge.
The NBA and the South Korean Ambassador had fruitful discussions and possible areas of partnership were also explored.
The NBA is pleased to inform members that the South Korean Ambassador assured the NBA of the cooperation of the embassy towards ensuring that members that registered for the IBA Conference are able to attend same.
