It is with a heavy heart but total submission to the will of God, that I commiserate with the entire NBA Benin branch. I learnt of the gruesome murder of Omo Osobase Iyioha who was kidnapped and subsequently killed by some criminal mob.
The rising cases of murder in our country is a result of our failed security system. The law enforcement agencies must immediately investigate these matter to ensure justice for Omo. They must, in turn, find, arrest and prosecute the perpetrators of this evil act and bring them to book.
Omo before his untimely death was a young and vibrant member of the BENIN branch
I equally, commiserate with the family of Mr Chris Enosegbe who died on Monday, 1st June 2020 at the Edo state specialist hospital, Benin City after a brief illness. Mr Chris, even until his death was very active in the legal practice. He partook in Branch activities and was a passionate and strong supporter of the Benin bar.
It must be a tough time for their families and for NBA Benin Branch, my thoughts and prayers are with you. May the good Lord give you all the fortitude to bear these losses.
Please accept my deepest Condolences.
