The Chairman of the NBA Constitution amendment committee, Mallam Yusuf Ali has stated that the committee will scrap some national offices in the NBA .According to him,the NBA does not need the position of a legal adviser since all members are lawyers. He said it would have been different if the NBA was an association of carpenters.
He further stated that some assistant positions should be scrapped for not adding value to the association.
In giving hints on what to expect from the committee, he said that the number of branches in the NBA are too much and should be reduced because some of the branches are not sustainable are are below the constitutional fifty members limit.
The committee has 6 weeks to come out with the draft constitution.
