Estate Management Immortalises Late Abdul Lateef Akerele with NBA Eti-Osa Branch Cooperation

The NBA Eti-Osa Branch has joined the Abraham Adesanya Estate Management in immortalising the late Mr. Abdul Lateef Akerele, the erstwhile Secretary of the Eti-Osa Lawyers’ Forum (ELF), who passed away earlier this year after a brief illness. At the time of his demise, the nascent NBA Eti-Osa Branch was still a forum, and Mr. Akerele played a pivotal role in its successful transition to a full-fledged branch.

In recognition of his selfless contributions to the growth of both the forum and the estate, the estate management, with the cooperation of the NBA Eti-Osa Branch, has named a street in his former residence Barrister Abioye Akerele Street. This gesture highlights the high regard in which the late Mr. Akerele was held by the community he served so diligently.

The NBA Eti-Osa Branch extends its profound gratitude to the estate management for honouring the memory of one of its esteemed members. This act of recognition is a fitting tribute to a man who gave so much to his community and profession.

Mr. Abdul Lateef Akerele will forever be remembered as a bulwark of the forum’s success. His dedication, passion, and leadership have left a legacy that continues to inspire. As the branch reflects on his impactful life, it acknowledges that “the shoes he last wore could hardly fit any other member of our great association.”

Rest in peace, Barrister Abioye Akerele. Your legacy endures.
