All is set for the 2022 African women lawyers association (AWLA) annual parley holding on the 23rd of August . AWLA has a tradition of holding the annual parley during the Annual General Conference of the Nigerian Bar Association.
The theme of this year’s event is “Sustainable Development for women- Catalyst for growth of a nation“
The keynote speakers for this year’s event are the Chairman/ CEO of Nigerian Diaspora Commission ,Abike Dabiri-Erewa and the first Lady of Edo State, Betsy Obaseki
The event will hold at the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs,Victoria Island,Lagos.
About three sessions bordering on Millenium Development goals,35% Affirmative action and challenges of women owned businesses will be discussed.
