I commiserate with the Nigerian Law School and the professional legal education community in Nigeria on the demise of Chief (Dr.) Kole Abayomi, SAN, OON a former Director-General of the Nigerian Law School on Thursday 2nd April 2020.
Dr. Abayomi was a father figure to me. His son Kayode is one of my closest friends and I had the honour of being the bestman at his wedding.

Dr. Abayomi was a charismatic character with plenty of swagger and there was never a dull moment when you were in his company.
My heart goes out to his wife, Mama Kenke, to Kayode and his siblings and to his grandchildren. I pray that the Lord will grant repose to his soul and grant the family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
