I congratulate the Nigerian Bar Association on the completion of a successful Annual General Conference, Annual General Meeting and transition from one administration to another.
I also congratulate Mr. Olumide Akpata and all the members of the newly sworn in Executive on their assumption of office.
Given the depth of the issues that were raised during the campaigns and the promises that were made, the expectations of members of the association and society at large are very high. Thus, as we usher in this new NBA administration, it is my hope that it will fulfill its promises to our members and improve on the achievements of the outgone administration.
I reiterate my commitment to a UNITED BAR and promise to work with the new administration to achieve an NBA we can all be proud of.
