The Eti-Osa Bar Forum expressed congratulations to the Judges of the High Court of Lagos State sworn recently into office by the
Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
This was made known in a press statement issued by Oladotun Hassan and Ayo Ademiluyi , Chairman and Secretary of Eti-Osa Bar Forum respectively.
It will be recalled that Governor Babajide Sanwo-olu swore in eight new Judges into the High Court of Lagos State, after their confirmation by the National Judicial Council.
The newly sworn-in Judges include Hon. Justice Dorcas Taiwo Olatokun,
Hon. Justice Yhaqub Gbadebo Oshoala,
Hon. Justice Omotola Ibironke Oguntade,
Hon. Justice Olufunke Sule-Amzat,
Hon. Justice Dr. Rasul Oriyomi Olukolu,
Hon. Justice Sharafa Abioye Olaitan,
Hon. Justice Ezekiel Oluwole Ashade
and
Hon. Justice Adeniyi Funsho Pokanu.
The Eti-Osa Bar Forum reiterated her call to Governor Babajide Sanwo-olu to hand over the Eti-Osa High Court Building to the Lagos State Judiciary in order for adjudication of cases to commence at the High Court Building.
The Forum also called on the Chief Judge of Lagos State , Honourable Justice Kazeem Alogba to assign Judges to the Eti-Osa High Court Building and also set in motion the creation of the Eti-Osa Judicial Division accordingly.
