J. K Gadzama, SAN has written to the Body of Senior Advocates of Nigeria (BOSAN) to notify the body of his inability to accept his appointment as the chairman of the Election Audit Committee constituted by BOSAN, and parallel to another Committee set up by the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA).
A major reason he stated for being unable to take up the appointment is the avoidance of bias; due to the fact that one of the elections he contested (2016) should also be included in the audit. He commended the body for the initiative and hoped that the scope of the committee be widened. He also stated his readiness to contribute positively in terms of suggestions and recommendations.
