The high court in Ondo has sentenced to death by hanging one Seidu Adeyemi, the alleged killer of Khadijat Oluboyo, the daughter of former deputy governor of the state.
It would be recalled that Khadijah was a final year student of the Adekunle Ajasin University (AAU), Akugba-Akoko, when she was killed.

The deceased’s body was found inside the room of her killer boyfriend at his residence in Oke Aro area of Akure on July 2, 2018.

Khadijat, who was reported to have been lured to the residence by Alao Adeyemi, was reported to be killed for reason connected to money rituals, according to the father of the deceased.

Speaking on how he got to know that Alao was his late daughter’s boyfriend, the former deputy governor disclosed that his daughter met Alao at the College of Education, Ondo state.
The suspect allegedly made attempts to bury Khadijat’s body in his house in Akure before he was nabbed by the police operatives.
However, in a judgement delivered at the high court in Akure, Ondo state capital, Seidu Adeyemi was sentenced to death by hanging after found culpable of the crime of homicide and attempted money rituals.
