The President of the Nigerian Bar Association(NBA) has constituted an ad hoc team of nine members to monitor the forthcoming gubernatorial election coming up in Osun State, Southwest Nigeria.
According to the President,Paul Usoro SAN in a circular released and dated the 10th of September,the constitution of the team is in line with the traditional watchdog role of the association.
The team of 9 members include

- Olalekan Thanni
- Aiye Tam-George
- Ato J Bulus
- Saliu O Jimoh
- Abibbat Delayo Oriekun
- Olarewaju Obadina
- Mukosolu Okafor
- Liman Salihu
The team is charged with the responsibility of amongst others to monitor and report on the conformance of the electoral process to all relevant and applicable laws and regulations as well as the standard of electoral freeness and fairness that was observed by all the relevant stakeholders during the course of the election.
The team will complete its assignment upon the submission of the monitoring report to the President of the NBA within two weeks of the announcement of the election result or soon thereafter as the president may direct.
