NBA Ikorodu Branch collaborated with FIDA Lagos State, Association of Lawyers with Disabilities in Nigeria and the Olatoun Olabinjo Girl Child Initiative to provide palliatives for disabled persons within Ikorodu.

Bayo Akinlade, Chairman of NBA Ikorodu explained that the engagement with the disabled persons was in the pipeline for months but Covid 19 had interfered with the organising a program for them.

“I am happy that we got this off our to do list. I am particularly grateful to members of my committee on Child Rights, Domestic Violence and Persons Living with Disabilities who planned this event. The president of ALDIN, Daniel Onwe Esq who came all the way to educate the community about the rights of disabled persons and FIDA Lagos Chair, Philomena Nneji who came with her FIDA team and some food stuff for the Disabled community.

I am very proud of my Branch and happy for the opportunity to serve the community of lawyers and Ikorodu through NBA”

More than 60 disabled persons were present at the event with over 80 packs of food stuff shared to them and enough to share with others not present.

NBA Ikorodu Branch will continue to bring to life the spirit of the NBA aims and objectives for the benefit of all.

Fantastic job. I actually loved what you had to say, and much more than that, how you presented it. Too cool! 863865
