The Treasurer of theNigerian Bar Association has released the notice below for the benefit of Lawyers who practice inthe courts on the Island.
NOTICE OF CLAMP DOWN ON VEHICLES PARKED INDESCRMINATELY AROUND HIGH COURT
Please our members are advised to find a proper parking space for your vehicles when you come to both the High Court and Magistrate Courts in Igbosere.
Some vehicle plate numbers were removed by the task force from Alausa from vehicles yesterday and owners advised to appear before the Magistrate Court at Igbosere with an intended #50,000 fine. Not even the appearance of our branch Chairman along with affected lawyers at the SUMMARY proceedings could totally remedy the situation as affected lawyers were only assured of a reduced fine.
As we work towards a permanent solution to the parking problem, we should please Park our cars properly to avoid a repeat of what happened yesterday afternoon.
