It was mixed feelings of shock and sadness I felt when I heard of the demise of the former Director General of the Nigerian Law School, Dr KOLEADE ADENIJI Abayomi who passed on Thursday, 2nd April 2020 at the age of 79 years in London.
The year 2020 indeed is a year not to be forgotten in a hurry within the legal profession; with death snatching away some of the profession’s finest and exceptional gentlemen.
Dr. ABAYOMI was a legal icon, great teacher, a committed, passionate and dedicated lecturer who sacrificed a whole lot for what he was passionate about.
I condole with his family, friends, colleagues and all the students who passed through him. May the good Lord grant his family the fortitude to bear this loss.
